Is it Phelan or Rocatcher now?

Tis the season for getting hitched and who better than these two? South of France, 12th century abbey, pack of English hooligans, what could possibly go wrong? Rog: good work with the drill! Thanks to S&J for putting on an absolute blinder and congratulations again upon your marriage, it was great attending one of these gigs and not getting married myself!

Sandra's from the area hence the wedding in France and it was great to meet the the French gang and to spend a wonderful weekend in their company and to enjoy their loving hospitality - merci beaucoup to the Rocatchers, Christophe, Nellie, Jerome et tous les amis. Fantastic also to hook up with some of the English crowd who I haven't seen in ages, Jo, Rich, Theresa, Rachel et al, we haven't changed a bit have we?

Here's the evidence.

London, innit?

Wow, back "home" after a few years and lordy me, haven't they gone and changed it all! I certainly don't live here anymore and nor is it home any longer, but they haven't completely ruined the place like everyone was worried they would back in 2003, just goes to show that people with loadsacash aren't always bankers.
Here's what the neighbourhood looks like now.

Honkers

Crazily enough, I don't actually have any photos of what took place in Hong Kong on account of me being the one photographed most of the time. However, plenty of other people do, the picture you can see here is from my dear partner in crime Mr T.

The majority of other piccies were taken by a guy called Simon who used to be an IT geezer but got bored and decided to become a photographer instead and I for one am certain he's made a smart career choice, a few of his piccies are on one of his blog pages, linked here, and the rest will be available in short order no doubt, given how fast HK people generally are. Sadly enough, you'll be depending on me to pop the link up so don't expect anything too quick!

Lost on Tour

Okay, so I haven't been that good about keeping this thing up to date but I have been busy, honest! Since I last scribbled about four weeks ago I have, as promised, left Australia (voluntarily), got married a second time to the gorgeous Corinna, buggered off to sunny 'ol London, caught up with the old 'hood, nipped off to the south of France to enjoy a stunning wedding in Lagrasse (nice one S&J) and am now in the only physically divided and UN patrolled capital city in Europe: Nicosia, Cyprus, visiting my lil sis and her charming boyfriend and enjoying the unexpected benefits of a wonderfully fast internet connection in our hotel.

I'll try and be organised and pop everything into manageable chunks with all the piccies on flickr.

So, are we sitting comfortably? Good, then I'll begin...

Eat your heart out Mr Caxton, this is too easy! Fifteen minutes of amateur bumbling and here I am, staring out at you from your screen, wasting your precious time when you should be working/sleeping/getting some fresh air - you gotta love the internet!

So, things have been happening in my life at quite an alarming pace recently; been married for just over a month now (not that I'm counting) and about to head off for my second set of nuptials in Hong Kong (same crazygorgeous woman, honest), leaving work and a new bunch of friends in Australia for a while, going on a bit of a gander back to where I come from and enjoying happy days with some dear friends and I just thought what better use of toys than to share this with you.

Bear with me as I learn what I'm doing and I promise to keep this interesting, or failing that, brief :)
